Roofers in Golders Green

Roofing and guttering in Golders Green, NW11

Golders Green grew around its Underground station in the years after 1907, so most of its houses are Edwardian and inter-war semis and detached homes with steep clay tile roofs, tile-hung bays and generous gables. Towards Hampstead Garden Suburb the Arts and Crafts influence gets stronger, with deep eaves and decorative ridge tiles.

Those steep clay roofs last well, but they now carry a century of wear. Nails rust through and tiles slip, hips and ridges lose their mortar, and tile-hung bays start to shed tiles. Many houses here also have large flat-roofed rear extensions and garages that need re-covering.

We match clay tiles and ridge profiles to the roof, re-hang slipped tiles, repair tile-hung bays and replace flat roof coverings with felt, GRP or EPDM. The gutters, fascias and soffits on these wide-eaved houses are part of our work as well, and every quote is free.
