Roofing and guttering in Cricklewood, NW2

Cricklewood is where we want to be your first call for roofs and gutters. The streets either side of Cricklewood Broadway, from the Mapesbury estate to the roads around Gladstone Park, are lined with Edwardian and late Victorian terraces and semis, many of them converted into two or three flats.

Those houses share a pattern. Slate or clay tile main roofs with tall party-wall chimney stacks, bay windows with their own small roofs, and a long rear addition with a flat or shallow roof. Add decades of loft conversions and kitchen extensions and you get a mix of pitched, flat and dormer roofs on almost every plot, all draining into gutters that were often fitted in the 1970s or 1980s.

The jobs we price most around NW2 follow from that: slipped slates on the main roof, failed felt on rear extensions, chimney stacks that need repointing and gutters that overflow onto the bay. In converted houses we write the quote so each flat owner can see exactly what the shared roof needs.
