Willie Gammell is the director of Nano Roofing & Guttering Ltd, a roofing and guttering company working across north-west and central London, built on 17 years of industry expertise. What defines the business is a personal, hands-on approach to every job, competitive pricing and efficient timelines without cutting corners on quality. The idea is simple: the roof and the gutters fail together, so one team should look after both. That means a proper look at the roof before any price, a free quote with no obligation, repairs first when a repair will do, and a 20 year guarantee on every new roof.

How we work
Every job starts with a look at the problem: the roof itself, the gutters and the details where they meet. We find where the water is getting in before we price anything, and the free quote says what we found and what the work involves.
Whether it is a minor repair or a complete installation, we work to your schedule and your budget, for homeowners and on new-build projects alike. On site we protect the house and the garden, keep the roof watertight at the end of each day and leave everything tidy when we go. New roofs carry our 20 year guarantee.
Where we work
We cover north-west London, including Cricklewood, Hampstead, West Hampstead, Kilburn, Willesden, Golders Green, Swiss Cottage, Belsize Park and St John’s Wood, and central London, including Marylebone and Knightsbridge.

The leak is often where the roof meets the gutter.
Rain runs off the slates or tiles, over the felt and into the gutter on the fascia board, then down the downpipe. When any link in that chain fails, the water ends up in the wall or the ceiling. A roofer who ignores the gutter, or a gutter fitter who never looks at the roof, fixes half the problem.
We do both. The roof, the lead, the fascias and soffits, the gutters and the downpipes are all our work, checked at the same visit and priced in one quote.
- Roof covering, ridges and lead
- Fascias, soffits and bargeboards
